This is a list of my favorite Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Fan fiction.
——————————————————————————————————————————————————-
I could stay - I think of it as the prequel to Blackout
Blackout takes place shortly after Self Made Man. While driving, John has an accident and is put in the hospital.
Awake is the sequel and continues directly after Blackout ends. John is getting back to his usual self while at the same time dealing with his feelings toward Cameron. It’s a rewrite of season two. Jameron.
These two stories are two of the best fanfics I’ve ever read. Unfortunately they’re no longer on fanfiction.net. The author pulled them when she start writing professionally. However, I saved them before they were removed.
Below are the stories. They’re zipped up and you can choose between three version.
——————————————————————————————————————————————————-
I Love You Too - Is a season three story that takes place in the future and the present. It’s a darker story than most season three stories and it is without a doubt the best out I’ve read.
Becoming John Connor - Is a AU story that follows John’s growth from a normal teenager to a man leading the resistance. It’s a John and Cameron character study.
Of Machines and Men - John knew those words for what they were: a lie to placate his mother; to placate the bitter resistance fighter. They’d never built a computer, they’d never seen beyond the circuits and the lines of code. A machine was made in the image of its creator.
Only Lonely - Cameron decides to intervene before John makes a terrible mistake with Riley. Set during “Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today”.
Fuzzy Dice - The truth of John and Cameron’s relationship spreads to those willing to go to any lengths to undermine it. Sequel to “Only Lonely”.
The Killer I Created - After capturing a new type of terminator, General Connor faces a personal crisis while his future father confronts a frightening new enemy in the forbidden wastes of the Arctic Circle. Prequel to the ‘Only Lonely’ series.
Land of the Living - John and Cameron have moved to an isolated and idyllic Northwest town so they can raise their daughter in peace and seclusion from the world. Then the killing starts happening. Sequel to “Fuzzy Dice” and “The Killer I Created”.
Revolution - The Connors’ lives are thrown into chaos when a mysterious man arrives from the future with no memory of who or what he is. A/N: Features an OC from my other stories, but is set in an alternate timeline to those. John/Cameron. Part 1/5.
Reversion - John must choose between his feelings and his destiny when Cameron is corrupted by an old enemy. A/N: Features an OC from my other stories but is set in an alternate timeline to those. John/Cameron. Part 2/5. Sequel to Revolution.
Harbinger - Leaving their old life behind, John and Cameron indulge in a fresh start far away from the clutches of Skynet. But their past catches up when an old nemesis comes to them with an intriguing proposal. J/C rom. Sequel to Reversion. Part 3/5.
Judgment - The Connors find themselves fighting an impossible adversary and must rely on old enemies for help. Meanwhile, Cameron struggles to understand what is happening to her. John/Cameron romance. Sequel to Harbinger. Part 4/5.
Hope - Forces conspire as the fate of John and Cameron’s creation promises to either be the salvation humanity needs, or its ultimate destruction. Part 5/5 of the Revolution/Reversion/Harbinger/Judgment story arc. John/Cameron
Cameron’s Redemption - John struggles with the aftermath of Cameron’s rampage. John/Cameron. Part 1/3.
Turncoat - Jason Corvain, a rogue I-950, rescues a very special Terminator from Skynet’s clutches. OC/Cameron friendship, John/Cameron romance. Prequel to Cameron’s Redemption.
Cameron’s Reflection - Cameron is targeted by an old nemesis, who is determined to destroy everything she holds dear. Sequel to Cameron’s Redemption. John/Cameron. Part 2/3.
Cameron’s Relocation - Cameron finds herself in an alternate future, not knowing how she got there. Sequel to Cameron’s Reflection. John/Cameron. Part 3/3.
Judgement’s Dawn - All their previous efforts have failed and Judgement Day is upon them. Follow John and Cameron’s development together as they start the fight back against Skynet. Jameron.
Century - Sequel to Judgement’s Dawn. Forced apart by tragedy, John Connor is thrust into the horrors of the Skynet work camps, whilst Cameron searches for her lost love. I strongly recommend reading Judgement’s Dawn before reading this, so it’ll make sense.
Liberation Day - Last part to the Judgment’s Dawn series. Judgement Day was when the war started, Liberation Day marks it’s end. What will John and Cameron do with no more Skynet to fight?
Delilah - Hers is only one of many: stories, lives, pasts and futures. Cameron Phillips’ life is a coil, a twist of time unraveling, the end chasing the beginning. Cameron origins fic. Pre-series through to Born to Run.
Something Else - 23 year-old John Connor rides into a small town in Southern California, still waiting for his destiny to catch up with him. Nearly a year after the death of his mother Sarah from cancer, he faces the future alone. Or does he?
Terminator: A New Dawn - Takes place sometime after “Samson and Delilah” and goes AU.
So Let Us Not Talk Falsely Now - (BSG / TSCC Xover) All this has happened before… Everything that exists is caught up in and eventually lost in the cycle that began with Judgment Day. Now the cycle must be broken. John/Cameron, Leoben/Sarah
There’s a first time for everything - Set in the year 2032, it’s a tale of a difficult future, even more difficult feelings and choices that affect both, with JC and Cameron in leading roles. Contains elements of drama, tragedy, a bit of humour and even a criminal mystery.
Irony, Thy Name is Cameron - My vision of what happens after Born to Run. Begins at the end of the episode, and continues on. My very first fan fiction. John/Cameron
That Which We Call Fate - Immediate sequel to my first story, “Irony, thy Name is Cameron” which took place post Born to Run. The Connors begin to prepare for Judgment day, while John continues to grow into the future leader he’s destined to become.
Be Not Afraid of Greatness - Third installment to my little series that started with “Irony, thy Name is Cameron.” With Sarah temporarily out of the game with a severe injury, Cameron must continue to help John prepare for what is to come.
Six Days, Seven Nights - John finds himself in an unfriendly future. He joins Catherine in an uneasy alliance and though they have different goals, their paths are joined.
Metal and Lace - Sequel to Six Days, Seven Nights. John and Cameron are in 1961 and Cameron can’t remember who John is.
The Girl Who Came in From the Cold - This short vignette takes place directly after the S2/Ep.4 “Allison from Palmdale.” If you haven’t seen the ep, you might be lost. This one is slight John/Cam romance, but nothing explicit.
Two Thoughts - John needs help from Dr. Sherman, Cameron needs help connecting with John. Takes place after “The Tower is Tall, But the Fall is Short.” Sequel to “The Girl Who Came in From the Cold.”
The Tin Man’s Heart - This is a sequel to my previous stories, “The Girl Who Came in From the Cold” and “Two Thoughts.”
Found and Lost - Continuation of “The Tin Man’s Heart” storyline. John and Cameron alternate universe romance.
Just Something I Should Do - Cameron struggles to understand her developing emotions despite John’s help. The Connors hunt Kaliba to try and prevent Judgement Day.
I Wouldn’t Be Worth Much If I Couldn’t Feel - Continuation of Just Something I Should Do. Cameron and John’s relationship continues to develop while the Connors are provided with new missions from the future.
Faith isn’t Part of My Programming - Sequel to ‘I Wouldn’t Be Worth Much if I Couldn’t Feel’ - A new enemy emerges as Judgement Day looms, John and Cameron feel their way in to their new relationship and Sarah learns her new role in John’s life.
The Unbroken Circle - Continuation of the series from Born To Run. Three years have passed and John has risen in the ranks of the Resistance. It’s not enough, though, and he soon realizes something must change. Part 1/5
The Substance Of Love - The Substance of Love is a companion piece that deals essentially with the same time period as The Unbroken Circle telling the story mostly from the viewpoint of Cameron and John Henry. Part 2/5
Call Back Yesterday - this is a story that deals with relationships of the TSCC quartet both post and pre Judgement Day. Part 3/5
Requiems and Reveries - “In my end is my beginning.” As the last shadows of the day gather about them, John and Cameron reflect upon the love, the sacrifice, and the heroism that have defined their lives together. Can the heart endure or are all loves doomed to die? part 4/5
The Thucydides Project - John Connor wrote a deeply personal history of his war against Skynet. This is that history. Part 5/5
To Put Away Childish Things - A short story in three acts exploring what might have happened after the, “Earthlings Welcome Here” episode.
The Patchwork Girl - John/Cameron. Patchwork Girl is my first John/Cam fic about what really happened to Cameron’s chip, why she acts differently, and what caused the Alison from Palmdale incident. Cam finally goes to John about her chip problems.
Wherefore Art Thou, John Connor - John is forced to enter his school’s production of Romeo and Juliet. To his dismay, Cameron spontaneously enrolls in John’s school under the alias Cameron Phillips and is understudy for the role of Juliet, who is being played by Riley. John/Cameron
To Be Or Not To Be - Sequel to “Wherefore Art Thou, John Connor?”. John and Cameron’s school field trip to Canada turns into a nightmare for John as he is forced to deal with Riley and Cameron’s constant fighting, and ultimately having to choose between them. John/Cameron
Fair is Foul - Third part to “Wherefore Art Thou, John Connor?”. The Connors infilitrate a summer camp named on the list. While John intends to track down their future ally, he must deal with his deteriorating relationship with Sarah and Derek, who are questioning John’s judgment and Cameron’s true purpose. Jameron.
To Feel Love - The events that follow episode 2.13; John and Cameron take Riley to the hospital and discover several interesting things, one of them involving the two of them.
More Than Metal After Cameron saves his life once more, John begins to discover his true feelings for his Terminator protector and tries to prove to her—and himself—that she’s not just a machine. John/Cameron
Between a Boy and a Girl - Begins immediately after “The Turk,” when John confronts Cameron about Jordan’s suicide and ends up confronting his own confused emotions about his beautiful, too-human protector.
Terminator: Dawn Of A New Hope - This is my own adaptation of the events after Terminator 2. We see the appearance of Cameron, a protector sent for John to aid him on his most dangerous mission yet. Can John step up to the task?

Volume 2 : The Hero’s Requiem? - After the events of “The Hero’s Return?” John Connor has one last matter to deal with regarding his mother Sarah, before starting his new life with Cameron.
Volume 3 : Better Days? - A small town in Texas, during one week in September 2016. People go about their daily lives, blissfully unaware that they have been spared Judgment Day. Meanwhile, other people do other things …and the 3 volume saga reaches its conclusion.
Life’s a Beach - Running on fumes, the Connors decide to take a vacation to the beach to re-energize. Has trouble followed them there? Starts sometime after Brothers of Nabulus.
Paradigm Shift - Ensemble Cast - My hypothetical Season 2 Premiere. Cromartie and Ellison both seek out the Connors, who recover from the bombing.
Duality - Season 2, Episodes 2 & 3. Continuation Fic. Cameron struggles with her evolution as the Connors face down their greatest opponent yet - an exact duplicate of Cameron’s model who plans to create SkyNet early and bring Judgment Day down on their heads.
Emergence - Season 2, Episode 4 - Insanity and confusion reign as a prophet for a new messiah rises, a Terminator with a very unusual goal searches for Cameron, and the Connors learn of Catherine Weaver and her plan to change the world forever.

One, two, three, four - Oneshot. Cameron teaches John to dance in order to infiltrate a party.
Alone Again Or - Set in Season 2, a brief Valentine’s one-shot as John & Cameron discover that friendship is a special kind of love.
Something Elf - 24 year old John Connor arrives in a small town in Canada, still waiting for his destiny to catch up with him. Two years after the death of his mother Sarah from cancer, once more he faces the future alone. Or does he? ** AU seasonal one-shot **
Gift - Late at night, Cameron contemplates her decision not to terminate John. This is a one shot for now, although I may build on it later.
Glitch - J/C. Set during “Born to Run” during “the scene” but goes AU. There was so much tension there, I couldn’t remember a story I felt properly explored the other way things could’ve gone.
And This Is Why - It happens in a motel room, with his hand under her breast plate and that’s a good thing it’s cold, right? - Two times John and Cameron kissed.
It comes and goes, like the sun rises and sets - One time John and Cameron kissed.

Importance - John told Jessie that her plan to get him away from Cameron wouldn’t have worked. Now, he’s going to tell Cameron.
What I Want Most - Oneshot, set during “Born to Run”. Cameron isn’t human, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a heart’s desire of her own, and for one brief moment before she leaves, she might be able to indulge it. John x Cameron
It’s Not Much, But It’s Enough - A selection of old one-shots I wrote what feels like a lifetime ago and new oneshots that I’ll hopefully continue writing. There’s a fair bit of mush, in addition to mush. Did I mention there was mush?
You’re Cameron - Takes place sometime after “Mr. Ferguson is Ill Today”. John apologizes to Cameron for his treatment of her during his time with Riley.
A collection of stories from Predaking50AE. (This guy is a great writer.)
